When Lyric Legend came out last year for iPhone, it was one of the first music mobile games with as big a focus on the lyrics as the music itself. It was the work of digital music startup TuneWiki, which has now released a sequel: Lyric Legend 2. It’s a free download, with songs available to buy in-app from the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Nelly, Fall Out Boy, Coldplay and Kanye West. Players can also earn virtual currency within the game to spend on songs, while there’s a new Easy Mode where players don’t have to tap on every lyric. A good thing, because we found the original difficult to play on songs with any kind of pace.
