
There have been lots of rumours recently that Apple is working on a television set for release in 2012. However, the New York Times has started an entirely new rumour, claiming that both Apple and Google “have secretly begun working on projects that will become wearable computers” with the aim of connecting these devices wirelessly to their smartphones. Apple’s plans: “One idea being discussed is a curved-glass iPod that would wrap around the wrist; people could communicate with the device using Siri, the company’s artificial intelligence software,” explains the NYT.
