YouTube has published its end-of-year review blog post, revealing that it topped one trillion video playbacks for the year: “That’s about 140 views for every person on the earth. And if I had a penny for every … OK, you get my drift, it’s a big number.” Excluding videos from major labels, the most popular video on the site was Rebecca Black’s ‘Friday’, with spoof band The Lonely Island’s ‘Jack Sparrow’ collaboration with Michael Bolton taking third spot. What about videos from major labels though? Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull’s ‘On The Floor’ tops that list, ahead of LMFAO’s ‘Party Rock Anthem’ and Bruno Mars’ ‘The Lazy Song’.
