JBonta Innovations’ new app MixOnMyRadio is a clever idea. It’s an iPhone app costing £0.69 which offers a new spin on the idea of personalised radio. Rather than streaming songs from the cloud, it taps into the user’s own iPhone music library, but then pulls in news, entertainment and lifestyle content from more than 35 podcasts from the likes of the BBC, CNN, FoxNews and NPR. The idea: it creates a pseudo radio station using the music stored on the device. Users can also record song dedications for friends: audio messages teamed with iTunes Store preview clips that are shared with friends on Facebook.
