A group of Swedish developers have launched an interesting iPhone app called SpotON, which blends Pandora-style personal radio with Spotify’s mobile API, as well as The Echo Nest’s music matching engine. The idea behind the free app is that users can create new stations based on artists, liking and disliking songs to give it more information about their tastes. However, they can also add songs to Spotify playlists from within the app and export their entire station listening history to Spotify playlists too. Since Spotify is being used to stream the music, users must have premium accounts already. It looks great, with stylish design. That said, Spotify will surely bring its own recently-revamped Spotify Radio feature to its mobile apps soon too.
