Startup OutListen is the latest company looking to gather fans’ cameraphone footage from gigs and turn it into a more-satisfying whole. Evolver.fm reports that the company will sync audio waveforms from videos aggregated from fans, so that artists can add in the soundboard recording from the show and release the results as a ‘crowdsourced concert video’, or in OutListen’s words “an incredible amateur and professional hybrid concert experience”. OutListen isn’t the only company doing this though. Last year we wrote about Veokami, a company looking to do exactly the same thing (Bulletin, 21-Oct-11).
