In December, we wrote about Apple launching its iTunes Store in a number of Latin American countries. Now it has followed up quickly with its iTunes Match cloud music service, which is now live in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela. Eastern European countries Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania also now have iTunes Match. The launches bring the total number of countries with Apple’s cloud music service to 37 – an impressively fast global rollout given that rivals Amazon and Google have yet to add scan-and-match features and launch them beyond North America.
