Livestream is one of the webcasting platforms being used by artists to stream performances and webchats to their fans. Now it has a new iPhone app for ‘Producers‘ – channel-owners – to help them post text, image and videos to their channels, as well as broadcast live from wherever they are. The app only works with Livestream’s recently-launched new platform – new.livestream.com – so producers who are still on the company’s old service have to upgrade first.
