British broadband-music firm Media Service Provider (MSP) has appointed a new CEO, Graham Sargood. Formerly a non-executive director, he takes over from co-founder Paul Hitchman, who is remaining as a director of the company. Sargood’s background is in the telecoms industry, and he has been consulting for the likes of Virgin Media, Wanadoo and Deloitte in recent years. MSP launched the MusicHub subscription service for Irish ISP Eircom in December 2010, and the company says it will soon launch its second big customer service, while rolling its music platform onto iOS, Android and connected TVs. “MSP is poised to accelerate its growth in 2012 with the roll out of further services across multiple territories and user platforms,” says Sargood.
