More stats are filtering out about Madonna’s half-time show at the Super Bowl on Sunday. Google says Madonna was its top trending search during the game. It makes us wonder how many people were watching the half-time show and, with a perplexed expression on their faces, turned to Google to find out who on earth this Madonna person was. Separately, social media analysis firm WiredSet says Madge’s half-time show averaged 8,000 tweets per second, with 59% of them positive, 11% neutral and 30% negative. Billboard also reports that the event has given Madonna’s new single ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ a good start digitally, with more than 100,000 downloads sold in the US alone so far, and 50,000 pre-orders for new album ‘MDNA’ on the iTunes Store.
