Two fun digital marketing campaigns to talk about today, from Blur guitarist Graham Coxon and Sir Paul McCartney. Coxon wants fans to appear in the video for his upcoming single ‘What’ll It Take’, getting them to submit dance moves from smartphones and webcams. The footage will be cut together into the final video, with the best movers winning tickets and signed albums. And McCartney? He’s looking for marriage proposals from fans – to each other, mind, not to him. “In celebration of Valentine’s Day and his new album release, Paul wants you to share your love. If you are in love and so inclined, Paul is inviting you to propose to your partner here on Facebook.com/PaulMcCartney. We’ll be setting aside a special space at the top of Paul’s page on Valentine’s Day for you to propose to your loved one,” explains his website.
