While CEO Daniel Ek was holding court before the Grammys, Spotify’s developers were rolling out an update to the company’s iPhone app that delivers a significant boost to its audio quality. Users previously had a choice of Low Bandwidth or High Bandwidth streaming, depending whether they wanted to save on data usage or enjoy higher audio quality. Now there’s a third option: ‘Extreme’.
