Spotify has a new way for its users to be social, but this isn’t about sharing music or connecting to Facebook. Spotify Community is a new section of the Spotify website. “On this new forum we’re offering all our users a new and easy way to interact and have conversations about Spotify and music,” explains the company’s blog post. “You can use our Community portal to ask for support, help other users like you, provide us with feedback, share new ideas, playlists and musical opinions. This forum is yours!” This isn’t a new idea for Spotify, but it’s been brought in-house. Previously, the company had its own community-powered support section on the Get Satisfaction service. A message there now asks users to “Please help us by moving your existing conversations to the new Community as well as directing new inquiries on towards that channel.”
