Former Beatle George Harrison may be dead, but his guitar collection lives on – and now in digital form. Apps firm Bandwdth Publishing has launched an iPad app called The Guitar Collection: George Harrison, offering photos, descriptions, audio and videos of Harrison’s axes. Oh, and 360-degree imaging of the guitars, and a discography organised by which guitar was playing which song – the music can be played if it’s already stored on your iPad too. The likes of Ben Harper, Josh Home, Mike Campbell and Dhani Harrison feature in the video section playing the guitars, while Conan O’Brien and Gary Moore also feature in interviews. The app weighs in at 207.9MB, and costs £6.99 on the App Store.
