Liine is one of the most respected music technology companies working in the apps world today, and its latest app is likely to get techno fans excited. It’s called Remiix Mixmag: New Horizons, and is a partnership with artist and label-owner Richie Hawtin, and dance magazine Mixmag. Available for iPhone and iPad, it’s a remix app using a number of unreleased tracks hand-picked by Hawtin, with users able to mix, add reverbs and tape delays, and import other sounds to create their own versions. Hawtin says he hopes the app “exposes us all to new music and the early potential of next generation artists”.
