Music discovery service Exfm has notched up around 85k downloads of its iPhone and Android apps (70k and 15k respectively, although the former has been out since June 2011, while the latter only came out in January this year). Now both apps have been relaunched with more features to match those on the Exfm website, which lets people play music from around the web. That means mobile users can search the entire Exfm song database, check out Trending and Explore charts, share via Facebook and Twitter, and listen to ‘monthly mixtapes’ – the latter are only available on mobile. COO Charles Smith tells Betabeat that on the web, Exfm attracted 430k unique visitors in February, up from 90k last October.
