It’s all change at Google, which has unveiled a new brand for its entertainment and apps products: Google Play. It’s described as “a digital entertainment destination where you can find, enjoy and share your favorite music, movies, books and apps on the web and on your Android phone or tablet”. That means Google Music and the Android Market app store are both being rebranded as – respectively – Google Play Music and Google Play Store. The company’s movies and e-books services will be similarly renamed. The Google Play Music offering will remain the same: cloud storage for up to 20k songs, and a store selling millions more tracks.
