Social photo-sharing app Path hit the headlines recently when it was the first in its category to be uploading users’ iPhone address books to its servers without asking them – before it emerged that most of its rivals were doing the same thing. Now it’s hoping for a more positive reaction to its latest update, which includes a music feature. Path has worked with Gracenote to incorporate music identification technology, so users can tag whatever song they’re listening to in the real world when posting an update. The news came as Path announced a seperate integration with the Nike+ fitness app.
