eBay’s ticketing subsidiary StubHub has acquired Singapore-based startup Peekspy. The latter company has visualisation technology to help people see 2D and 3D maps of venues before buying tickets for a concert or sports event – including the ability to see the view from a particular seat. “In addition to the cutting edge technology, the core technical talent behind Peepsky’s products and services will be moving from Singapore to San Francisco,” explains eBay in its blog post announcing the deal.
