Remember indie band Uniform Motion? They made headlines last year by publishing their payouts from iTunes, Amazon MP3, Bandcamp, Spotify and Deezer. Now the band have published a new post: “Payouts from streaming services like Spotify and Deezer have increased fairly significantly so we thought we would update the numbers.” Uniform Motion says that in 2011 as a whole, it earned €0.0047 per play from Spotify, and €0.0127 from Deezer. That’s an increase of 56% and 116% respectively from 2010. “If you listen to the album 10 times on Spotify, we’ll get 0.42 EUR,” notes the band. “If you listen to it a hundred times, we’ll get 4.23 EUR”. The corresponding figures for Deezer being €1.14 and €10.14.
