Music videos service Vevo has been benefitting from its recent integration with Facebook’s Open Graph, according to figures released by the social network. “Published actions on Facebook increased 600% from February to March, referrals from Facebook to VEVO have increased 130% in the same time frame, and 60% of Facebook referral traffic now comes from Open Graph stories,” explains Facebook. “Additionally, VEVO moved to a Facebook-only registration, which has resulted in an increase of 200% in daily registrations.” In separate news, Vevo has announced some UK stats, reaching 177m monthly video streams in January, with 12.5m of them being mobile, thanks to 1.4m downloads of Vevo’s mobile app. Vevo says unique monthly viewers have increased by 23% since the platform launched in the UK, but hasn’t put a figure to that.
