The European Commission has announced plans for a startup contest called Tech All Stars, which it hopes will help 12 of the most innovative European startups raise funding from local investors. The contest takes place in June, and will feature 10 startups that have graduated from business incubators, accelerators and web camps, as well as another two ‘wildcards’ who may not have, according to TheNextWeb. Startups applying have to be less than three years old and have raised less than €1m from outside investors, while also being headquartered within the European Union. We hope some music startups apply, as there are a number of innovative companies in the space who might benefit from the exposure in this contest.
