Vevo’s next country launch could be Australia, after the music videos service inked a partnership deal with MCM Media, a subsidiary of Australian company MCM Entertainment Group. “The addition of Vevo to our existing websites, Take40.com and TheHotHits.com, will ensure MCM Media is delivering Australian music fans unparalleled access to artists, while giving advertisers greater opportunity to engage with music lovers,” says MCM boss Simon Joyce in a statement. The Australian’s report on the deal doesn’t give a specific launch date for Vevo down under though. In separate news, Vevo has announced a two-day launch party for its Summer Six UK festivals series, with the launch taking place at the Great Escape festival in Brighton in May.
