Earlier this year, digital music store 7digital revealed that it had more than 2m active mobile users across Android, BlackBerry, iOS and its mobile site (Bulletin, 14-Mar-12). Now the company has added another platform into the mix: Windows Phone. The newly-launched app sells 7digital’s catalogue of 18m tracks, with a new design for the Windows Phone ‘Metro’ user interface, including the ability to pin favourite artists, tracks and albums to their device’s homescreen. The app also ties into 7digital’s cloud service, so people can re-download songs previously bought from the store on other devices.
