Philippines-based startup Twitmusic helps artists upload and share songs via Twitter, while getting fans to comment, retweet and embed them on other sites. More than 4,000 artists are apparently using the service, including MC Hammer, Bryan Adams, Bow Wow and Jason Mraz (now THAT’S a supergroup…). One thing: Twitmusic isn’t Philippines-based any more: the core team has moved to the US and joined famous Silicon Valley incubator program 500 Startups, according to TechCrunch. It will be taking part in the initiative’s demo day in late July.
