Rovio has revealed that the Angry Birds series has now passed 1bn downloads on all platforms. Yesterday the company revealed some financial figures for 2011, including the fact that the Angry Birds games reached 648m total downloads by the end of last year. That means on average, 2.7m Angry Birds games have been downloaded every day in 2012. The franchise generated €75.4m of revenues for Rovio in 2011, with 30% of those coming from licensing and merchandising deals.
