Ale brand Caffrey’s is the latest company using Spotify in a digital marketing campaign. In this case, it takes the form of a microsite asking people to “vote for your favourite Caffrey’s Redefined Classic” – cover versions, samples and mashups. They can pick from a list or suggest their own. Meanwhile, there will be four radio shows presented by DJs Alex Zane and Pete Donaldson, as well as homepage takeovers on Spotify itself. “This campaign uses Spotify’s huge catalogue of over 18 million songs as well as providing entertaining branded content that you can hear only on Spotify,” says Spotify’s brand partnerships director Jack Milligan.
