Swedish cider brand Kopparberg has launched a Festival Player playlist generator on its Facebook Page, working with Spotify and Last.fm to provide the music recommendations and content. The app focuses on UK festivals, letting users browse festival artists and then generate a Spotify playlist based on their three favourites, with the playlists also shown to the world in the Kopparberg app. The app is the work of media planning and buying agency Arena Media, working with the music companies and Kopparberg. It’ll be promoted to the brand’s 110k Facebook fans, and ties in with a big-budget advertising campaign that kicked off last night across TV, cinema, digital and billboards.
