US-based Fool’s Gold is the latest independent label to launch its own subscription service. It’s called The Goldmine, and is using the Drip.fm platform to offer downloads, exclusive content, merchandise discounts and “other surprises” to fans who pay $10 a month. Co-founder Nick Catchdubs describes Drip.fm’s platform as “elegant and easy” in a statement. “The Gold is going to give longtime Fool’s Gold supporters even more music to dig, as well as turn on new fans to artists they might not have checked out otherwise.”
