Streaming music service Deezer has announced plans to livestream video of a concert by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. The gig takes place this Wednesday in London’s Koko venue, and will be broadcast through Deezer’s website to 49 countries. That includes streaming it to Deezer’s mobile apps for its premium subscribers. It sounds like the company has plans for more of this sort of thing too. “Due to our ongoing global expansion we are in the fantastic position of being able to broadcast worldwide, we are committed to bringing the very best in new music to our users and this broadcast is one of many exciting things to come,” says Deezer’s UK MD Mark Foster. The move into live streams is reminiscent of Spotify’s broadcast of a Nissan-branded concert in September 2011 held at… London’s Koko venue.
