To mark the 40th anniversary of David Bowie’s The Rise & Fall Of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars, EMI had turned to Wedoc to handle part of the marketing. Fans can `Ziggy-fy’ (post-Spotify, seemingly everything now has to come with the `ify’ suffix) themselves using the “livery of the David Bowie character” (which makes him sound a bit like a jumbo jet). They can amend their own webcam photos with a gold forehead circle like Ziggy or a facial lightning bolt like Bowie’s Aladdin Sane creation and submit them for others to vote on.
