Hello, what’s this? It’s Gary Barlow and Hello! magazine getting all “AR” for the jubilee. Gary (or, as we must now call him, “G-AR-y B-AR-low”) is going to appear as a “3D, sculptural photograph” (yes, one of them) on the cover of Hello! which will then `come alive’ using the free Hello! 3D app for iOS and Android. First a Tupac hologram performs at Coachella and now an augmented reality G-AR-y B-AR-low gets virtually covermounted on a magazine. These are powerful times for us all. (We’re still not sure how or where the jubilee fits in, but don’t let that worry you when there’s a G-AR-y B-AR-low to be looked at.) G-AR-y B-AR-low said, “I’m very excited to be a part of publishing history with Hello! and its creation of the world’s first true 3D magazine cover.”
