Yesterday, we reported on Pricewaterhouse Coopers’ optimistic outlook for the US music industry. But it appears the company is equally confident about the film business: the PWC Global Entertainment & Media Outlook report predicts that the global movie business will grow at a compound rate of nearly 3.1% percent until 2016, when it will reach $99.7bn. This, the report claims, will be led by the doubling of income from digital formats.
