The latest Music Hack Day has taken place in Barcelona alongside the Sonar festival and conference. With sponsors including Gracenote, MusixMatch, Spotify, Zvooq, Deezer, 7digital, The Echo Nest and SoundCloud, more than 40 hacks were created. Cue weather-generated Spotify playlists, Kinect instruments and tilt-controlled iOS drum machine apps, as well as real-time analysis of the hottest tracks on Twitter, and a hack called Legalize It! mapping the most popular BitTorrent tracks to Spotify.
