Here’s something innovative, but possibly also controversial. Flockedup Social Music Player is an Android app developed by Red Bow Labs in Berkeley, California, described as “the first real-time music app for groups”. What that means is an app that users launch when near other friends running it to browse one another’s music libraries. “When you play music, it plays on all your phones at the same time perfectly in sync, turning your phones into one giant boombox.” The app is currently in beta.
