Online payments firm PayPal has sparked controversy by cutting off the account of TorGuard, a company that specialises in VPN and proxy services, including several aimed at BitTorrent users. PayPal told TorGuard that its business “violates some of the agreements you have with us”, leading to the cut-off. “We still accept all forms of credit card, Google checkout and couple of other secure wallet services,” the company tells TorrentFreak, claiming its business is inconvenienced rather than truly hurt.
