If rapper Pitbull was hoping to sun himself in Miami as part of a Walmart social media marketing campaign, he’ll be disappointed. The US retail chain promised a personal appearance by Pitbull at whatever store got the most Facebook Likes, yet the campaign was quickly subverted in an attempt to send him to the most remote outlet in Kodiak, Alaska. 35,000 Likes later, it looks like Pitbull will be packing his duffel-coat. A disaster, right? Actually probably not: if he takes it in good humour (which judging by his tweet about bear repellant being on special offer in the Kodiak store, he is), Pitbull will actually come out of this well.
