Personal radio service Pandora famously pulled back from its non-US operations a f ew years ago due to licensing issues, but post-IPO, it’s expanding again. Pandora has relaunched in Australia, telling users there that it “never gave up hope that we would someday return” after blocking Aussie users in 2007. In an email published on media site Mumbrella, founder Tim Westergren explains that the relaunched Pandora is in beta, with some localisation work still to do, including getting its mobile app live. We’ve been hearing whispers about a similar return to the UK in the near future: with Pandora now a public company, expect analyst questions about its global plans during its next financials conference call.
