Nokia has released a new Twitter for Nokia app, but it’s not for smartphone owners in the West. Instead, it’s for Series 40 feature phones: the devices that Nokia is making a big push with in areas like India, Africa, Latin America and south east Asia. “This new app brings most of the features you’d expect to see from a Twitter client on a smartphone to hundreds of millions of feature phones around the world,” claims the company, which says it’ll preload the app on future Series 40 phones. In a lot of countries, people may only be accessing Twitter from mobiles, so this is good news for artists in those territories who are tweeting.
