UK startup Reality Jockey – best known for its RjDj app – has released an “augmented soundtrack experience” for the new Batman movie. It’s an iPhone app called The Dark Knight Rises Z+, and uses the film’s soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. The idea being that people plug in their headphones, fire up the app and then have the sounds of the real world around them turned into Gotham City, including Zimmer’s music. The free app follows a similar project for Inception, which came out in December 2010.
