We’re slightly afeared of fan fiction, given its regular descent into 50 Shades of Grey-style erotic musings. Even so, we’re intrigued to see an iPhone app come out collecting thousands of fanfic stories about British boy-band One Direction. It’s no amateur effort, but a standalone app from mobile stories startup Movellas, which has a large community of people scribbling ‘mobile novellas’ about all manner of subjects. Now all the 1D ones have been collected into a single free app, with social features to encourage ratings and comments.
