As Kiss gear up for the release of their new album Monster, the band are rolling out a social media campaign to fire up their fanbase. That inludes a Facebook app scavenger hunt for pieces of album artwork, and a standalone ‘Social Hub’ for fans that ties into Facebook, Twitter, Vevo, Flickr, YouTube and other external services. Besides presenting the band’s official social updates, the site pulls in tweets and photos from fans. It’s using translation technology from Ortsbo – the subsidiary of Intertainment Media that’s been linked with Sean Parker’s social media management startup TheAudience.
