Metal band Anthrax have joined the apps rush by launching their own Anthrax: Army app for iPhone and Android. The band is using the Mobile Backstage platform for the app, with a focus on getting fans to connect with one another and share videos, audios and photos as well as comments. The app also promises ‘exclusive’ Anthrax content. Meanwhile, it’s come to our attention that Mobile Backstage is also powering the new Mumford & Sons app, Gentlemen Of The Road, which is also available on iPhone and Android. It’s published under Universal Music’s U-Apps brand, and since we wrote about it yesterday, has been launched globally.
