Digital music startup TuneWiki made a move into mobile games last year with its two Lyric Legend iPhone games. Now it’s got a new one: Beat Geek (iTunes link). Rather than tap words in time to songs, this is a more-standard trivia game, but still based on music. Players can compete against their Facebook friends or strangers, and there are power-ups to give them an advantage – paid for via in-app purchases, since this is a freemium game.
