UK newspaper The Guardian has a new angle to its partnership with Spotify: a section of its site called Six Songs of Me. People are encouraged to “hand pick the songs that mean most to you and help us uncover the music that matters most”, with six specific prompts (‘What song always gets you dancing?’ / ‘What is your perfect love song?’ etc). The music comes from Spotify, and the six-song playlists can be shared on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ – with artists and journalists already chipping in with their own lists. Our main surprise: only one other person besides Music Ally has chosen Morris Minor & The Majors’ ‘Stutter Rap (No Sleep Till Bedtime)’ as the first song they ever bought. For shame…
