Live Nation now has a new source of data for its BigChampagne Ultimate Charts: social music startup Monstro. The latter company measures ‘social sharing activity of songs in real time’, and will now be feeding its data into the BigChampagne charts, which already work with airplay, sales, dreams, downloads, listens, views and other social metrics around music. “The addition of Monstro’s data makes our charts even more timely, comprehensive and reflective of real-time fan buzz,” says Live Nation’s Adam Toll.
