Streaming service Rdio has signed licensing deals with indie music distributors CD Baby and TuneCore, bringing its catalogue to more than 18m songs. This, as TechCrunch notes, is potentially more than Spotify, which had 17m songs in its catalogue as of June this year, although the Swedish service does already have deals with both companies and claims to be ingesting 10,000 new tracks a day on average.
