When Vevo relaunched its website and iPhone/Android/Xbox apps earlier this year, the company’s iPad app was left out of the loop. Now it’s arriving in style. The music videos company has redesigned its iPad app “from the ground up”, adding deeper social features, more content around artists (bios, tweets, tour dates etc), more powerful playlist features and the ability to dig into the iPad’s iTunes library to watch videos from that. Oh, and for users with an AirPlay-compatible TV or Apple TV set-top box, Vevo’s iPad app can now stream wirelessly to a bigger screen too. The app is partly the fruit of Vevo’s new development office in San Francisco, with a team working closely with the company’s existing New York staff on the app.
