The channel will offer more than six hours of Trojan tracks, including streams of new compilations ‘Trojan Presents: Boss Reggae’ and ‘Trojan Presents: The Producers’. The channel will be streamable on Deezer’s website, but also on Trojan’s site and elsewhere via an embeddable widget. “Music fans who only pull out a Reggae compilation when the barbeque comes out now have the opportunity to delve into the Trojan vaults without having to leave their computer or mobile device,” says Trojan’s Barri Coen. It’s the latest example of personal radio being pitched as a marketing tool for labels.
