We were quick off the blocks yesterday with our story about Amazon Cloud Player launching in the UK – so quick, that UK pricing for the cloud locker’s premium tier wasn’t yet available. Now it is. The free tier lets people upload 250 songs of their own, plus anything they’ve bought from Amazon’s MP3 Store. Scan’n’match features are included, upgrading songs to 256Kbps versions if they’re lower-grade. That’s the same price as Apple’s iTunes Match service here, but ten times more storage since Apple’s limit is up to 25,000 songs plus iTunes purchases.
